Trivia:
The Smithsonian Institute historically saves and displays the clothing worn by The President’s wives, First Ladies . This year the Smithsonian has requested the hat worn by Aretha Franklin as well! When I saw it I thought it resembled a Crown. This beautiful hat was spoken of lightly and disparagingly on TV the next day as being a “church hat” . In my opinion it was beautiful and fitting for the occasion.
Prior to the inauguration there are news clips with shots showing moving trucks for the Bush Family belongings and through the window, a painter redoing the White House walls. Immediately following the oath, moving trucks for the Obama Family move into the White House are shown.

Hello, I have been trying to get the Obama Inauguration on dvd. We drove to Washington only to be told we could not enter with out tickets. I made two attempts on this item but I was out bid.
Is there any way I can still buy this item. Its sounds pretty good. I will make an offer through paypal or what is your price. SAVE THE DAY I had to stand on the sideline in Washington, got back to Baltimore and the next day every Inauguration WASHINGTON POST was sold out, now it seems the dvds are hard to get. thanks
